Very nice experience
I've been a patient of Dr. Steve Hecklin for quite some time now and I consider him and his staff to be the best I've had.
I have always had very good experiences at the office friendly and helpful receptionist. The staff are wonderful always have the same person very gentle and kind during the cleaning of my teeth. Care priivided by Dr Shawn Schlessel excellent. I am very happy with my dental care.
Unless you're unconscious, there's no such thing as a pain-free experience, but after seeing both Drs and their team, I can affirm the discomfort was minimal for both my cleaning and cavity fillings.
Robin gave me an excellent cleaning.
Doctors Hecklin and Schlessel are excellent. The office staff and hygienists are friendly, always accommodating to meet the needs of the patient. They provide explanations and options without pushing the most expensive choice. If a specialist is needed, they will make sure they get you an appointment in a timely manner. They also provide services for children providing clear and age appropriate explanations to the patient and parents.
Drs. Hecklin and Schlessel are true professionals in their chosen field of dentistry. When you are in their care, you will discover they take no short cuts in evaluating your dental needs and recommending solutions. For years my dentist was Dr. Lawrence Averbush. Recently, he retired and I have chosen to remain with the new team composed of Dr. Hecklin and Dr. Schlessel because I know their work well enough to know I will receive the same exceptional dental care my wife and I have received for over 20 years. My procedures have been painless, described in detail with no surprises, I am always seen ontime and all the work I have had done has been as pleasant as it could be. For anyone looking for a dentist in the Nashville area, Dr. Hecklin and his (phenominal and lovely) staff are absolutely the best.
