Had cateract sugery in my right eye, I had probles after, went back 3 times and he said the eye was perfect, I still could t see it was all distorted. I asked about lazer surger to fix it and he said no you dont need it.He told me to wait 6 weeks and come back..I was discusted and decided to seek a second opinion, went 3 days later to another Dr and he said I had a lot of scar tissue. I cannot say enough about this wonderful practice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. P performed a laser procedure - painless for me and painless for my wallet. I was in and out quickly and I'm already pleased with the results. Highly highly highly recommend.

I went to Dr.Pourkesali 2 weeks ago for my yearly exam. Last year I was told my eyes were very healthy. This time I was told I had cataracts in both eyes and needed surgery. That night I happen to see a discussion on Plantation Bay neighbor with regard to the doctor. Several people said they went for second opinions and found out that the never needed surgery. Very disappointed. I thought if I got a polyoptix toric lens I would be able to see better. I wound up with a macular hole in my retina and poor vision. I am disappointed because I went to several retina specialists and they said I had no cataract. I was told by one optician and Dr Pourkesali I have cataracts. The retina specialists I saw 4 said I had no cataract but a problem with my retina. My other disappointment is I asked for a contact lens prescription for my right eye and I got my contacts and my vision is blurry so b... read more
