Dr. Koruth helped my mom catch her Pancreatic Cancer early enough to where we had a year to spend with her. He also helped with a misdiagosis made from my previous doctor and correcting the problem. He doesn't over prescribe any medications if he doesn't think that you really need them, which I like. Also, he is the ONLY doctor that has gone out of his way each and every time to look up whether a prescription he is giving me has any interactions with a daily medication that I am on.
My wife and I have been a patient of Dr. Koruth for about 15 years and I think he is absolutely wonderful. He is a exceptional Doctor with extensive concerns for his patients. We now have or oldest daughter going to him and we look forward to always having him our family doctor.
Christine Reece in the last week Dr P. Koruth is not a good doctor nor does he have sound judgement with diagnosing patients and their signs and symptoms. He thinks everything is a joke and lacks the knowledge to medically discern a fatal sign and symptom from an acute/ chronic sign and symptom that a patient is presenting. My Mother was presenting with extreme chest pain and Dr Koruth failed to diagnose it and sent her home,I rushed her to the ER where she was diagnosed with a 200% heart attack
Never again. Iwant a healthcare provider who has an interest and respect for what the patient has to say. Id much prefer doctor of osteopothy than an md and will search for that or a nurse practitioner next time.
Moderately difficult to schedule appts through the "your call is important to us" automated system. Parking at the office is extremely limited, and alternate parking is more than 1/4 mile walk away. I waited more than an hour and 15 minutes past my scheduled appt time before giving up and leaving the office. The office staff seemed indifferent to my experience, and I'll find another doctor to serve as my primary care physician.
Dr. Koruth seems to be a very patient man. He is the doctor for my handicapped down-syndrome brother who is no longer able to communicate or walk. Dr. Koruth explains thoroughly to my mother and myself, but speaks to my brother, Steven. My 90-year old mother loves the way he treats my brother with compassion and respect.
This doctor is the reason I don't like doctors. I've been there a couple times and it seems like he doesn't actually know all that much. His specialty is handing out referrals to specialists moreso than finding answers himself.
Dr. Pothen C. Koruth, MD has a 4.3 star rating with 50 reviews.
