I love all the shows that come to this theatre. We’ve frequented many and look forward to the lion king. The one thing that continues to lack is the options for food. We went to shopkins this past weekend I was expecting kid type of snacks. Go to Costco and stock up on box candy. The gummy bears were the most kid friendly option and my kids ate 2 and were done. Shopkins are characters that are “food” so I was expecting more of an oomph for snack options and not the typical food you would get at any show.

Tickets are way too expensive. I just booked a trip to New York and purchased tickets to see 2 Broadway shows (2 adults) for about a third of the price at orchestra level. I was so excited when Dr. Phillips first opened but I cannot justify the excessive price.

I saw Book of Mormon Friday night, the third time I have been to the Dr. Phillips Center. I bought tickets in November as a gift for someone not knowing his schedule and unfortunately he couldn’t attend the day of the performance I selected. Normally the box office doesn’t allow to exchange tickets...they made an exception since it was a gift and we were able to go another night and enjoy the show. Thank you Alyssa, Marilyn and Leo the manager that I worked with on making this happen. Now that is Customer Service!
