If there were a 6 star option I would choose it! From the time I went in for the first evaluation until the second eye surgery and follow up every professional in Dr. Lum's group has been the best medical experience of my life. They all took the time to explain things and answer all my questions. Because of the unfortunate "cataract" name I always thought it was a radical surgery, but is the easiest procedure you could imagine. I cannot praise this doctor and his staff highly enough. I have had surgery twice for separate impinged nerves and the office was responsive to my needs, I got an appointment within days and the process with insurance was seamless. My experience with Dr. Jones was informative and concise and I appreciate his no nonsense bed side manner. Just the best experience.
He was insolent, condescending, homophobic and miserable. The last thing I need when I go into urgent care for an STI check is a doctor telling me "well it's not likely if you don't have symptoms", thank you doctor but I would still like to have a check up to be safe.
If I could say 10 stars for helpfulness, I would. Dr. Delio spent time, asked lots of questions and got the complete picture himself. He is an excellent doctor. Unlike a previous neurologist I'd seen, he said more that "yeah, there's definitely something wrong with you" and then billed me. Dr. Delio can do more that bill! He actually treated me, called me personally with test results and was 100% approachable. Thank you Dr. Delio!
He misdiagnosed shingles as just a rash. Thank goodness I got a second opinion, as I stated to him at the time, I was leaving for vacation out of the country. Very rude and condescending.
Dr. Lum great doctor. I can now see perfect and all because of his expertise.
My wife was badly misdiagnosed by Dr. Meller (he thought a slight muscle strain but it turned out to be pneumonia). I know two other friends whose lives were endangered when Meller failed to recognize very serious problems. I would never trust his opinions. Also, a thoroughly unpleasant person.
Some staff members are fine. However, several "ladies" are very, very rude and should be fired. Monitoring should be done.
Doctor would not listen to me or believe me about a simple infection I had. Would not make a referral. I was miss diagnosed twice at the MED CENTER and Dr. Meller clinics. They lost my blood results and I had to re-do them. Long wait times even when there is no patient ahead of you.
