I love Family Medicine because it allows me to take care of nearly any patient, regardless of their age, gender, or medical problems. As someone's family doctor, I know that I have a great deal of responsibility on my shoulders, and I want to provide evidenced based medicine as well as a caring attitude. I enjoy caring for both illness and wellness. I encourage patients to come to the office even when healthy in order to prevent illness instead of waiting for illness to develop.

As a former patient (I moved out of area), I miss Dr. Oubre and his patient, jovial bedside manner and knowledge. He is fantastic.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Oubre this week and I am thrilled to say that I am finally filled with hope with my medical provider and feel I will finally begin moving in the direction I want to go. He is thorough, he is engaging, he educated on every topic and he listens. I can't wait to go back!
Hands down best doctor ever! He must have spent over an hour with me to discuss my history to really get a feel of what kind of treatment I would need to better myself. I would recommend over and over again.
Dr. Oubre is a doctor who actually listens. He's found and fixed my somewhat obscure thyroid problem that other doctors had missed. I'm feeling much better, more energetic, and, oh yeah, forty pounds lighter, thanks to Dr. Oubre!
Dr. Oubre is an excellent doctor and resource for anyone who want's to PREVENT disease instead of waiting for it to happen. He is a wonderfully responsive, caring and excellent MD who takes the time to discuss and dive deep into personal blood work, diet and other items many MD's gloss over. To me this is a key difference between preventative medicine and the traditional reactive approach of "come and see me when something is broke" most medical practitioners have. This guy is great!
