This is m ore of a review on the Millenium office than specifically the doctor who doesn't seem to work very much at this office any more. It used to be the best primary care office for years. They are going downhill fast. Portal questions are answered by someone who doesn't know what you're talking about. Doctor is great if you can get to see him. Very difficult office to deal with though. Been a patient for over 10 years and almost impossible to get an appointment within 2 months, pushed off to a PA or ARNP. Portal messages are answered by assistant who can't be bothered. Seems like a factory and not a group caring for the patient, they push you to use their labs who don't send you the results like outside labs do. Didn't used to be this way. Seems influx of northerners have taken precedence over established patients.
.Calls are answered by a call center, Takes days to get a call back and then they take a message for proper person but they never call back. You have to wait months for appt with dr unless you opt for nurse or PA. This used to be a great office now you never see the same staff, the portal person who responds for the dr is rude. Used to be a great office. Now is Unacceptable. Certainly don't care for the patient.
Dr. Lautenbach is caring, compassionate, and listens to everything that is said to him. He even calls after hours and on Saturdays to give me reports. He treats me like I am his only patient.
Dr. Laughtenbach is my elderly parent's PCP. He starts with a preventative medical approach and they appreciate his wellness advice. The Millennium Group he is with, has the best patient portal system: he answers any questions they have in a timely manner. I can not speak more highly of him and his staff, who is always helpful (my experience with other medical professionals in this office has always been excellent)! I highly recommend Dr. Laughtenbach!
In my opinion this doctor and his staff seem to not care for me as a patient or my pain and suffering. They have absolutely no follow up skills and to make matters worse the group that they are a part Millennium are just as bad and do not want to hear or follow up on the inadequate or possibly dangerous care they provide and I have the documentation to support my claims and prove it!
The practice has gone down. Communication is difficult with the phones. Usually only get the recorded message. Office staff is forgetful on orders for lab work and patients chart information. Call backs if any are days later. Many staff aren't wearing masks, possibly a political statement. Blood or urine samples are no longer done in the office. Traveling to a different location is necessary to get lab work.
Felt uncomfortable that he wore no mask during my visit. His opinion on masks, etc during COVID did not seem to fit the general medical opinion in the US. Seemed more politically driven than medically.
Dr. is thorough and personable but the phone system and staff are horrible. Calls are mostly answered by a call center, they don't know you, it takes days to get a call back, and when you do, you get a stock answer instead of someone who knows you or cares. Unacceptable.
