Liar rude does repeated surgeries that he knows won’t help and gives way to many epidural shots in one day on his patients to defraud Medicare staff assembly line he deserves to have his medical credentials taken away Im saying this from personal experience he cares more about his pocket book then he cares about his clients that’s why NO hospitals will let him operate in there facilities that’s why he built a new surgery room at his office Quack Qwack Qwauk!!!!!!
I had back pain for 5 years to the point I needed something done. I ended up having a few injections and finally a back surgery. I feel great. I wish I had this done earlier.
I am not surprised by all the negative review. He did a low back surgery on me way back in 2000. I was 27. Later docters said I unlikely needed this surgery. He never told me I would have cadaver bone put in. The hardware he put in broke and when I called to tell him about it he asked me what "I" did to break it. Want a good surgeon go to Huntstock or Dr. BRUCE MCCORMACK.
I don't understand all the negative reviews. Yes, he can run late and yes, he talks fast, but he takes as much time as is necessary with each patient. He has always asked me what questions I have before he even makes a move to leave the room. I feel very fortunate that he was the spine surgeon on call when I landed in the ER. This Doctor was terrible. He was aggressive, intimidating, bullying, badgering and downright rude. Its just shocking there hasn't been something judicially done about him.
Has performed 2 very complicated scoliosis surgeries in the last 14 years. Both times I went from bed bound with horrific intractable pain back to nearly normal ADL's with minimal/no pain. Very competent, compassionate. Sometimes he runs late, but that is because he is taking care of urgent patients as well. Also has done all my care for insurance payment only, writing off tens of thousands of dollars in care. He has saved my life..........twice now.
I work in a large facility that Pappas would come to to convince people that he could help them with ALL their problems. He was paid VERY well and ruined almost everyone he touched.
Dr Pappas convinced me I had to have three disc removed. He appeared to have all the right answers, gave me his cell phone number if I had any questions. Told me if I didn't do all three I'd be back in a year. My gut said no and I tried to cancel twice and he would call me at home and convince me I had no other options but this surgery. Right after surgery I was sent home with no pain meds or Gabapentin. I was in extreme pain and I ended up in the ER.
