No one ever answers the phone at this clinic and when they do they setup appointments and then they magically disappear and no one knows what happened.
They have a dumb policy that if you go see another provider they can’t see you anymore and that was just cuz I only went 1 time to that other Dr because I had no choice .. I was a patient here for years ! 😢
My review is more for the front office receptionist and billing department. I go in as a private pay because it's just cheaper than using my insurance (which has a high deductible and doesn't cover the office visits). Doc told me to give them a copy of insurance for referral purpose only. Front office lady calls billing and which says I need to use my insurance for office visits. Why would I want to do that? If we could give minus stars, we would. The Mercedes office is, by far, the worst doctor's office. There is no legitimate care given and it makes you wonder what's really going on here. It starts with the receptionist (very unprofessional and unknowledgeable). The head nurse is extremely rude and does not understand that patients are there for medical care. Not sure if Dr. Penalo exists. He's never there, always unavailable, and 'he's seeing patients' but we've NEVER SEEN HIM. STAY AWAY!!!!
