I recently had an appointment with Dr. Walker. He was so nice and walked me through the whole process. I told him I was anxious and he did everything in his power to make me feel comfortable and explain in very detail, like I liked. His staff was amazing and treated me with respect and kindness. I highly recommend Dr. Walker at Loma Linda.

I hoped for a better outcome with this doctor. After years of denied medical care and neglect, I finally got into Loma Linda. I believed my medical needs would be met. Prior to coming to Loma Linda, I had a serious case of stage 3 oral cancer. I was given high doses of radiation which caused osteoradionecrosis, "bone death of the jaw." My condition is serious and I need to be under medical care for life. I am also disfigured due to the loss of bone in my lower jaw. I need reconstructive surgery. The year is 2022 and in 2016, Dr. Walker performed a surgery that was uncommon at that time: a Microvascular Flap Surgery (for removal of a cancerous tumor, on my top pallet). I was a rare case. And it was unsure if whether or not, if I would have any kind of voice... mechanical, none or the one I have today. It is amazing how intricate and detailed this doctor was.
