I went to Dr. Calat for wisdom teeth removal because I found a good rating for him here. He gave me comfort, took his time to explain everything and different options, and assured me that everything would work out well. I went for a second opinion to another doctor, who was on my health plan, but I came running back to Dr. Calat's office even though he wasn't on my health plan because of the great impression he gave and the confidence I had in his abilities. I went to see Dr. Calat for two dental implants, following my friends wonderful experience of having all four of her impacted wisdom teeth removed. After seeing two other oral surgeons, I was very nervous. But Dr. Calat's demeanor quickly put me at ease. He seemed to truly listen to each of my concerns and wanted what was best for me. Being in my late-twenty, I am a little bit concerned about my wisdom teeth extraction. I feel so lucky to find Dr. Calat to do this surgery for me. I get two of my impacted wisdom teeth removed (a bottom one and a top one on the same side), I didn't feel much pain during the surgery with only local anethesia, and I don't feel much pain after the sugery neither! Dr. Calat was very knowledgeable, caring and has very good personal skills. He makes you feel very comfortable and answers any and all questions you have about the procedures. I got 2 wisdom teeth removed which was relatively painless and fast. He explained the entire process to me and made sure I was always at ease. Even after the surgery, He made sure I was properly medicated for pain control and seeks a follow up appointment just to make sure everything's ok. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.
I had a very nice experience with Dr. Calat. I needed an implant. He explained me everything about the procedure before doing it. Also, while doing it. During the procedure, he kept asking me if I had pain, and about how I was doing. Dr. Calat made me feel very relaxed, and confident. My implant was a success. I came to Dr. Calat to have my one wisdom tooth removed and the experience was absolutely positive. He was very nice, intelligent and calm and walked me through exactly what would happen. He had great technology that showed me what was going on in my mouth via a computer screen immediately after my x-ray. He zoomed in on the problem area and told me how he would treat the problem. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Calat and would recommend him to anyone looking for an Oral Surgeon. I came in to have 3 wisdom teeth extracted and the staff was really friendly, the Dr. very nice and competent and the overall experience was as pleasent as a tooth extraction could possible be.
The entire process from when I first walked through the door to my follow-up visit after the surgery was a completely relaxing, informative and reassuring experience. The entire staff was nothing but helpful and professionial and the surgery/recovery was flawless. I highly recommend Dr. Calat.
