Great place Great dentist, been with him since I was 8. He is very informative and helpful. Real generous guy, I couldnt afford a filling that was 350 dollars and he gave it to me for free! I don't know why everyone reviews this place so poorly as its very accommodating for children. All I know is I get the guy with the orange hair and his name is Paul.

Rude, I am sorry that my son's first dental memories will be with Dr. Dan. I do not recommend Dr. Dan at all. He is rude and has poor people skills. In terms of treatment, nothing special. We waited over 30 minutes before we were called back and then another 15 minutes for him to show up. He was so rough with my 5 year old that it even made me nervous, and I wasn't even the patient on the chair. I am sure there are friendlier dentists out there more than willing to take your business. They will mine.

Very condescending Dr. Dan is very full of himself and very abrupt and to the point. He knows he is right and will make sure you know it. We waited 45 minutes to be seen by him. I asked the receptionist once and she smirked and said just a few more minutes. I guess his time is more important that mine! He doesn't explain things to the kids and has a lot of rough edges. He should have just become s regular dentist or a surgeon, so he wouldn't have to deal with talking patients or little kids.

mother Horrible experience. Dr. Dan is not only rude and condescending to children, but to adults as well. Went to another pediatric dentist in the area and had a fantastic experience. It seems that children are calmed when a dentist explains the procedures to them in advance. Also, the office is rather dark inside and uninviting. There are other dentists in the area that are child-friendly with videogames in the waiting room.

I went there and now my daughter goes there too!! I started seeing Dr.Paul Biederman when I was 18months old! I saw him throughout my teens when I had braces until I was 19 years old. I am now 30 and have continued using Dr. Biederman and his son with my 4 year old daughter. She loves going there!

I second the Not So Great.... I heard great things about the office, too. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with Dr. Dan, who was rather brusque and unspecific about my son's further treatment. When I tried to summarize to my 5 year old what we were discussing, he rudely told me that my son shouldn't make the decision. I guess he doesn't think children are entitled to understand what procedures are done to them. The other staff was friendly and helpful. I am taking him for a second opinion.

Not So Great... Based on the glowing reviews, I took my young daughter here for her first dental visit. Dr. Dan seemed very impatient & did not explain any of the instruments that were approaching her. I also was not satisfied with his explanations or the cleaning of her teeth. So much so, that I immediately made an appointment with a nearby dentist. As I suspected, she still had tartar on her bottom front teeth. I loved the kid friendly atmosphere...but that was the best of it.

Best Pediatric Office in Howard County!!! My daughter has been going to this office since she was 4. She is now 16 and still gets excited when it is time to go to the dentist so that she can use "Mr. Thirsty" (the instrument that the kids use to rinse their mouths out). People can't believe it when I tell them that my daughter loves going to the dentist. It is such a kid-friendly office and the staff really make the kids feel comfortable. They have college banner/flags on the walls from the kids that have "grown up" and gone... read more

Absolutely wonderful! Dr Dan was my son's first experience of a dentist and everything, from the kid-friendly waiting room through the 10 minute introduction to all the 'tools' that would be used in his mouth, the kid-sized dental chairs and the goodie bag (and toy!) on exit was just kid-perfect.
