BEWARE!! Please find another surgeon and save yourself! Dr. Owens withheld important information from me which resulted in him performing an unnecessary surgery on me and NONE of the surgeries he performed were successful. Dr. Owens withheld important information from me which resulted in him performing an unnecessary surgery on me and none of the surgeries he performed were successful. He left me with a permanent deformity on my pinky finger, a crooked middle finger and more pain and more limitations than I had pre-surgery. He also did not disclose what the residents role would be in my surgery and there was no care and consideration in the way I was casted. I cry every single day and I have severe PTSD. My surgery was not successful and left me with new issues I didn’t have before. I had a loose ligament which caused a tendon to fall to the right. Pre-surgery, Dr. Owens confidently said he had fixed that type of issue many times before. Unfortunately, post surgery, I am left with the tendon being too far left and a slightly crooked finger, and the issue did not get fixed.
