Great doctor and psychiatrist. He listens to you seriously and addresses your concerns directly. He’s always very kind. I’ve been seeing him and Karen who works with him as a therapist since around 2020. Couldn’t recommend them more. I’ve referred my friends and family to their team too. I love how they also accommodate for telehealth visits and check in on you a few times a year just to make sure all is well. I've been seeing Dr. Oruwari for 6 or 7 years now. The only reason I continue to do so is because it's hard to get in with a new psychiatrist. I don't want to come on here and just rant about him, he's a kind man and has the best of intentions, but I do not think he is good at his job. Something I like about him is that he actually listens to me and takes the time to talk things out with me. I was his patient for about 3 years and some change. This doctor is either overwhelmed, distracted by outside issues, or more focused on other aspects of his profession. He works at numerous other places. He is not incompetent, he knows his business medically, but he is awful when it comes to everything else, refills being reliably sent to pharmacies, long response times on MyMercy (well outside of 48 hours, one time it was TEN DAYS) sending the wrong scripts to the pharmacy, sending scripts without any instructions on them,... read more
I've been a patient for many years and the only complaint is the wait time in the office. He sincerely cares about my mental health and always knows who I am and my history. Monica is amazing she always returns my calls in the same day and takes care of anything that I need and is a genuine person who really cares about the patients.
