I recently had a health issue and found myself in the ER at McLaren Macomb Hospital. Dr. Flaherty was my physician and I cannot say enough good things about this man. He has an amazing beside manner and was very thorough, clear and patient. One thing that most impressed me was that my wife could not stay with me during the night so before discharging me he asked if I could call her so that he could speak with her also about my discharge instructions. Had a late night/early morning visit to the ER because of my son and Flaherty was the doctor.. He was refreshing, professional, and had a comfortable bed side manner; wish he had a private practice so he could be the family doctor.
