My experience with Dr Gillihan and his staff was 100% positive. He performed a joint replacement on one of my big toes. He is super relaxed and professional, and takes a great deal of time with each patient. I had a great outcome, with minimal pain. I would recommend him for any foot-related concerns.
I went to Dr Gillihan as the result of repeated ulcerations of the big toe on my right foot. He prescribed a course of action which included surgery to replace the joint on that toe. I was somewhat skeptical, but we followed his course of action including working around the fact that I am diabetic. I have only positive thoughts about Dr Gillihan. He spent the last year with me and the arterial ulcer on my ankle. After 2 rounds of amniotic skin grafts, the wound is healed shut and continuing to heal. I had this ulcer for 3 years. He has changed my life.
