The hospital gave me a referral for a nurologist which wasn't taking patients until June 2025. At that time, that would have been over a year wait. My neurosurgeon referred me somewhere else. I would not have been able to see that nurologist until October 2024. That would have been a seven month wait. I did my own research and discovered Dr. Kilhenny's practice!!! I'm glad that I did!! Fabulous Doc! And a Great guy!
I saw Dr. Kilhenny for the first time and I was highly impressed. He is so thorough and knowledgeable and professional. He really knows how to explain things to me and keep it simple so I could understand. He has a friendly demeanor about hims. He is easy to talk to and actually listens to what I had to say. Dr. Kilhenny might be intelligent and skilled, however, he doesn’t have good listening skills or good bedside manner. He does come across as arrogant and condescending, but I tried to put that aside and give him a chance. He will ask you questions, then interrupt while you are trying to respond. He also does not like when you ask questions about your treatment plan. He ordered MANY VERY EXPENSIVE tests, some of which had already been recently performed (eg checking for Lupus and Lyme disease). I questioned the need for a pro... read more
