Please don't go to this doctor. The office staff is exceptionally unprofessional: your appointments will get canceled/rescheduled/postponed without any notice. My dad has been trying to get an endoscopy done for six months. He was refused medical care at the hospital for an unknown reason, and they mentioned he was not on the schedule for the next month ahead when the office staff called to confirm the appointment for today. AVOID at all costs!
3 years ago I was recommended to have a colonoscopy by my primary doc. , I called the office but they were so unorganized to set this up like they were supposed to let me know when the insurance approval arrives, they never called, and I called several times then I finally got fed up and forgot about it, i found another doctor now, I figured if they are this careless, imagine when i am under the exam procedures !! my primary found me another gastroenterology!
For endoscopy and colonoscopy
I called sometime in March 2022 to get an appointment and the earliest appointment was available was 06/28/22, I told them that my authorization letter expires on 06/15/22 so if they can give me an appointment before that date but I’ve been told that there are no appointments available and I have to get a new authorization with an extended date. I had a 7:30 am appt. with Dr. Javdan. His car pulled up outside at 9:15 am and he strolled in at 9:15 am and I watched him slowly make a cup of tea for himself before beginning our appt. He was supposed to schedule me a procedure at Hollywood Presybeterian Hospital. Two month later and he never did. I called his office 4 times and his nurse and assistants (different persons every time I call) never called me back. I cannot recommend anything about a person that wastes a patients time and efforts to get well.
He is the worst, Overall, I don't recommend Parviz Javdan & that dirty & discriminant place for anybody, the place is awful.After 24 H fasting & 6 Hours IV in my arm,When I complained to the guys who were in charge & asked them to see my doctor, nobody paid attention to me. I left there at 2:45 PM without receiving any attention & any operation but lots of torture, instead. The place and the management are awful, I made a complaint to the Authorities because of all the things that happened.
Waiting time was several hours. The scheduled endoscopy at a hospital was done by him. I have made three attempts to see him to discuss the results, but he failed to keep the appointments: he didn't show up at the office twice (again several hours of waiting, full waiting room), next time the office stuff messed up and set an appointment at a wrong day when he's out of the office. Worst doctor.
