Recently, my partner had emergency surgery for a detached retina and the operation was SUCESSFUL! Dr. Desai is a person who shows empathy, concern for her patients and is very skilled in what she does. As a Mental Health Professional, I noticed how she treats her patients with care, dignity and respect. She reminded me the olde fashioned doctors who spent time and explained to the patient what is being done. I give Dr. Desai FIVE STARS. RAM
My first has been done next one in few weeks. Was amazed at how well my vision improved from one day to the next. So looking forward to being back to perfect vision in the near future in both eyes. Richie has helped me on three visits before I would see Dr. Desai or Dr. Clark. Richie is a very kind staff member.

After going to another eye specialist because my high pressure was very high and supposedly he had it under control but didn't I was referred to Dr Desai she made diagnose the problem correctly and came up with a plan of action plan that I believe saved my vision in my right eye after several treatments of laser she recommended a valve drain in my right eye that reduce the pressure and it worked great! and did a great job on my cataracts on both eyes the follow-up has been excellent !
I wish I could leave zero stars for this doctor. From start to finish I was there for over two hours for her to spend five minutes with my son. She did her exam and told us to relax that she didn't see anything that she considered urgent. As for the initial concerns we went in with she said don't worry about it and walked out.

The average wait in my practice is 1 hour. Because of my specialty, Retina Ophthalmology, many times I need to see emergencies. My patients sometime required additional testing to properly address their medical condition, those tests are done on the same day. This delays the waiting time for all other patients. In some cases the conditions of my patients are not related to my specialty and it is at that time that the patient is referred back to their primary healthcare provider.
