Excellence in the treatment of TMJ.
She only has one thing she does… get you a splint for many $1000s. I got the splint and could not “find the grooves” and she said I would eventually…. I wore it 24/7 and never did find the grooves. A dentist helped me find them and my jaw literally has to “jump” forward two inches to get to where she wanted it to go. She was rude and did not call me for a telehealth appt (which HER office reached out to me to change from an in person to a telehealth). Dr Steed is one of the most compassionate doctors I have met! The staff is wonderful and Jody was an excellent technician and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr Steed and her practice!
She doesn't take any insurance and is not in any network. I was told by her office that I would need to appeal the claim with my insurance to have them pay it. That was not true. I'm out over 500 dollars and I didn't even get anything done but an exam. They will lie to you and keep your money. The actual device is 1000s of dollars and none of it will be covered by insurance.
