I will be forever grateful for Dr. Laufer. After 2 months of going to doctors in PBC, without answers, my daughter was transferred to Nicholas Children's Hospital, and that's where we met Dr. Laufer. He was patient, and took his time to ask questions and listen to me. In about 20 minutes of listening what was going on, he figured out what the problem was. If your child needs a infection disease doctor, Dr. Laufer is your guy.
Dr Laufer is truly one of the best doctors I've ever dealt with. He's patient, kind and cares about his patients and their families. He is always available to his patients and families to answer questions and explains everything to the family as well as the patient (child) which is rare. He builds a wonderful rapport with his patients and truly does care for them. He helped my daughter to figure out her infection and get her back to being 100%! I highly recommend him as the BEST ID Doctor!
