I have been seeing Dr. Schueckler for over one year. I experienced an injury to my right shoulder the day COVID-19 was identified as being in the United States. Dr. Schueckler is a conservative surgeon. Meaning he referred me to utilize physical therapy for a rotator cuff tear and asked me to return should my symptoms 'flare' up. Thus far that was the best approach.

I was referred to Dr. Schuekler by Dr. Kasper who is in the same orthopedic group. My very first visit with Dr.Schuekler in the San Luis Obispo office went very well. I don't know why other people have complained about the office staff because they were pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. Abby, Dr. Schuekler's assistant was very friendlycompetent and kind. Each and every visit has been easy and reasonably on schedule. I have seen Dr. Schueckler and his P.A. He takes the time to discuss details and answer questions thoroughly; does not make you feel rushed.

I’m happy with Dr and his medical assistant but not the staff. There’s no need for an overseas call service. Especially during office hours. They know nothing and are useless. I can’t go into all that’s happened here but it was enough for me to leave the office. This practice can afford a local call service .. one that has medical experience.

Dr. Schuekler repaired my ruptured Achilles tendon. I was impressed with the urgency, expertise, and professionalism during this challenging period. Thanks to his support, I received surgery early in the process. The surgery was executed flawlessly, and he was diligent during recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Schueckler.

Dr. Otto repaired my left knee last year. So when I hurt my right knee, I knew who to call! His office runs like a finely tune machine. On time and efficient. His MA is friendly and very competent. I hope no one has a reason to see him but if you do, You’re in good hands!

I needed an exam of my painful shoulder by an orthopedist who doesn’t automatically recommend surgery. Both my knee replacement surgeon, Dr Delagrammaticas- fantastic surgeon - and my gifted Physical Therapist, Ross at Arroyo Grande PT, recommended Dr. Schueckler. X Rays were done right there in the office during my appointment. He gave my shoulder a thorough exam and diagnosed tendonitis and arthritis. Ultimately, I felt like I could put my complete trust in Dr. Schueckler. I know so very little about the process that he needed to perform on my ankle which was broken and somewhat crushed, that being able to put my faith in him put me at ease. He gave me clear instructions on how to care for my ankle post surgery and everything worked out perfectly. I liked the staff and medical aides who were always friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend him!
