I have seen him for my annual exams and various one off situations. He listens and is very practical in his approach. He genuinely cares and has given me great advice regarding ways to avoid prescriptions and never excessively prescribes medications.

I have multiple medical conditions and he thinks all of my symptoms come from anxiety. Totally dismissed how I was feeling. He's an absolute JOKE.

I was hesitant to use a male doctor, but under my circumstance, I had to take whatever was available. I felt really uncomfortable going into the appointment but after meeting him I realized I was worried about nothing! Dr. Anene was very informative and you could tell he was listening to my concerns. He answered all of my questions and was very thorough when doing the physical exam. He was straightforward with me as well, which I appreciate. I was concerned about a rash on my elbow and an odd looking mole so I asked Dr. Anene for a referral to a dermatologist. He refused. He was extremely condescending and asked if maybe I'd just been resting on my elbows, causing them to look a little red. He further assured me the mole was nothing to worry about. Good thing my insurance doesn't require a referral to see a dermatologist. The rash was granuloma annulare and they treated it with a couple shots. But the mole? The mole was melanoma.
