My appointment was mixed. Pros: She had read my complicated case file prior to the appointment, and she consulted the doctor in the practice I had seen prior. She recognized all the important issues and scheduled all the right follow up tests and referrals that I needed someone to pay attention to. When you can get her to concentrate on your matters at hand, she's great. Cons: She does listen, but you have to be firm in interrupting her sidebars and focusing her on what you're saying. I wish I had read the reviews here before my appt with Dr Hananel. From the moment she stormed into the room to the time she left in a huff, I barely got a word in edgewise. Only she got to talk and her whole conversation was based on thinking that I wanted 2 annual exams in 4 months. She constantly interrupted me when I tried to explain that this was simply an office visit and I wasn't looking to have an annual. But I never got a chance to explain because she refused to listen. Dr. Orna Hananel lacks the ability to listen, show empathy and communicate in a professional manor. If you want a Doctor who will be in partnership with you and your health, I would not recommend this Dr. She desperately needs training on listening to her patients, and not over-reacting to a patient seeking clarity or asking questions. Dr Hananel was working in urgent care when I went to see her because I had several odd and scary symptoms that had persisted, including not being able to keep my body warm. She said I "looked fine" and because I'm in my 30s it's probably nothing, talking down to me as if I was making up my symptoms. It turned out I have an autoimmune disease that had likely gone on for a long time and caused damage to my nervous system. The fact that this doctor did not take this seriously allowed my disease to progress further
Dr Hananel is one of the best doctors that I ever had. She is very caring and listen to you help solve the problem quickly. I highly recommend her
People like Miss Hananel should not be allowed to enter medical facility. She does not listen to the patient - She develops her own opinions - And then continues to build his theories one over another. She talk a lot - And when she talks only she is talking. Totally disrespectful lady. Someone needs to coach her what empathy is. People like these will only ruin lives - Your best bet is to avoid and change path.
