Excellent Surgeon. The best Surgeon in El Paso, he spends time with his patients. Performs complex surgeries with great outcomes. He has operated on most of my family members with great success. We keep going back to him. I wonder why some people write bad stuff about this doctor, He is the best we have in town. Calls back whenever I contact his office for concerns. We need more caring surgeons like this in El paso.

I was referred to Dr. Familua from Dr. Egbuna and it was the best thing ever. I was suffering for years from diverticulitis and was advised surgery would be needed. Dr. Familua was very patient and explained to me exactly what was going to happen including the risks. The day of the surgery he came and spoke to myself and my family. Once the surgery was over, he also came out and spoke to my family to let them know the outcome. He was very attentive and very caring throughout the entire process.
I Cant thank enough Dr. Familua and his entire staff for all their professionalism, patience, and support. The road was long and tough, but they were always there to show a positive attitude and that I would get better. I have fully recovered from my surgery and and extremely grateful to have had this wonderful team beside me every step of the way.
Went in as a refered patient , was told by two doctors I at need surgery. Paid $160 with insurance, waited two hours to be seen only to sit in a small office for 10 minutes and told nothing is wrong with me. The lady who saw me first before doctors fab, was very rude and was training medical students, she looked at me for about 2 minutes and said my concerns seem very "superficial". At the time I had a bulge right under my left rib cage which had been hurting for a few weeks so I don't see how t
Dr. Familua performed surgery on me in 2016. He was incredibly thorough and kind, knowing how anxious I was and my circumstances with my procedure, he went the extra mile to calm me down and made me feel much more comfortable.
