I have been going to Ogunro Hand to Shoulder Center since February 2024 for shoulder problems. Dr. Olayinka Ogunro performed surgery on my rotator cuff in 2016 and did an awesome job so I did not hesitate to return to his office. Sherry, the receptionist, was very helpful and friendly. Grishelda, the MA, was always available to answer questions that I had when the doctor was unavailable, and Casie, the PT, was great! I loved the one on one attention I received during my physical therapy sessions. As for Dr. Ogunro, you won’t... read more
Dr. Olayinka Ogunro has performed many surgeries on me due to my on the job injuries. I have had torn ligaments repaired and carpal tunnel surgeries in both of my wrists. He also performed cubital tunnel releases in both of my elbows. These surgeries were done in 1998 & 2000 & I'm still going strong with very little symptoms & no scars on my wrists. I'm currently scheduled for my torn rotator cuff surgery tomorrow 8/26/22 at Charlton Methodist with him. He has performed surgeries on my brother & father as well & we are very ... read more
Don't ever go there. Not a useful Doctor. If you think, your hand is important to you, please do not go there. He did a surgery on my hand, now I cannot bend my finger, according to him, I won't be able to bend my finger ever again.
Dr. Ogunro the elder is a misogynistic, careless, and even cruel doctor. He will see a Medicare patient, but not treat conditions that need surgery, or even occupational therapy or braces. He used to be good medically, but even the staff has been instructed to send away patients who had appointments, saying the doctor isn't there, and there's nothing that they can do. I observed a man being treated this way who had tons of hardware all around his hand, and missed work for the second time to come for his second appt., to be t... read more
Dr. Ogunro did my right trigger thumb surgery in 2006 and I have had no issues since so when I needed a trigger thumb surgery on my left hand I wanted him to do it. Surgery was on Friday at Methodist Mansfield and all went well. I trust him and feel he is well qualified.
Dr Ogunro suffers fromvthe God syndrome. Extremely rude and impatient. I had hand surgery for a trigger finger in November 2018. He released me from the hospital WITHOUT a sling for my arm or a splint for my finger. He only scheduled one follow up appointment. Terrible bedside manner and did I mention just downright RUDE.
Staff very rude to other patients before me. So-so to me. Dr. Ogunro was misogynistic, downright rude, and refused to treat me. I did a cursory history and exam, then referred me on, and refused to provide treatment.
Dr. Ogunro is a friendly and qualified Doctor. The practice seems to lack follow through and time management. I was told at my post op visit that I would receive a call to tell me when to come back for therapy and to have sutures removed. After week 1 I called the office to inquire, I was told I should have been given an appointment date during my previous visit. I tend to heal fast, my sutures are under scabs now.
