horrible experience. waited 1 hour and 40 minutes to be seen. after he came in we talked and when he found out i had not vaccinated my daughter, he asked me why. i told him my reasons, one being that some children that i personally know have gone into seizures after being given a vaccine and his response was "it happens"!! are you kidding me?? as if it's a normal thing!!! that's a stellar and caring response for an MD now, isn't it?? he refused to provide care for my daughter and told me to go back to my previous doctor. he ... read more

my children are adults but continue to see Dr.Ruiz-Castaneda. He is the best pediatrician you can ever want for your child. His diagnosis is on point and treatments are appropriate. He cares for the child in all aspects. He is very open and the kids would always ask questions when they were entering into adolescents. I truly believe that he encompasses what a true physician is supposed to be. the wait time can be a bit long, but its worth waiting for. My time is well spent waiting on a good doctor.

I love this guy!! He always remembers you and your child. The wait is long but well worth it. He treats my child with love, and has a young grandfather-type demeanor. He is a great doctor and helps you feel confident through any medical worries. He gives you details about why and how anything occured to your child: how to prevent the occurence and what caused it. When he prescribes medication, he gives you all the details and writes an extra note for you to keep. The only downside is that you do have to wait sometimes up to ... read more
