I was sent to Dr. Lepor by my GP to consult with him after I got some less-than-stellar test results. Everything about my visit with Dr. Lepor was first-rate - from his assistant, the lovely Julie, to his nurse practitioner (whose name I don't recall) and, of course, Dr. Lepor himself. They were all friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and treated me with care and respect. I can't recommend them highly enough!
My husband and I have been going to Dr. Lepor for over a decade. He is knowledgeable and up to date on all the latest research and medications which I appreciate in a rapidly changing world. Speaking of which — scheduling appointments and getting medication these days can be an absolute nightmare in certain offices. If you are busy and protective of your time you will appreciate Dr. Lepor assistant Julie Roberts. I have been a patient of Dr. Lepors’ for almost two years. He is kind, thoughtful and extremely professional. He cares about his patients. His care is second to none. I was referred to him by my primary care physician. His staff is caring and well qualified. My last visit was 1/26/23. I want to acknowledge his administrative assistant Julie Roberts. Avoid this doctor, not sure why he is still working when he clearly does NOT care at all about patients or even rendering the basics of providing information. I thought I'd seen bad docs before but this was an all new low.
Dr. Lepor has been my cardiologist for over twenty years. Besides being an excellent clinician, he is also an academic researcher and is up to date on all the cutting edge developments in cardiology. His philosophy of practice is that prevention is better than treatment, so he follows and screens his patients to detect trouble while it is easy to reverse, and before it causes major damage. Dr. Lepor has been my cardiologist for many many years and as long as he keeps me alive I will be his patient for many more years. I can’t compare him to other cardiologists as he is the only one I have gone to. But as a doctor (and I have many) he is terrific. He is never in a rush and he takes his time in looking over my tests and answering all my questions. He cares.
Dr. Lepor has been my husband's cardiologist for 27 years and has unequivocally saved his life multiple times! Recently he helped assemble a top-notch group of doctors to address my non-cardiac-life threatening illness. Words do not do justice to describe both my and my husband's praise and appreciation for Dr. Lepor's medical and overall care talents and skills!
Having known Dr. Lepor since 1999, when he treated me at Cedars-Sinai Emergency for a massive heart attack by implanting my first 2 stents (it is now 2016...he just put in my 5th stent), I can tell you unequivocally, that Dr. Lepor is OUTSTANDINGLY PROFESSIONAL who is well-respected by his peers(my other doctors). He is very easy-to-speak-with. His staff is OUTSTANDING as well with Daisy, Angie, Betty, Maria, and all the staff there are ready to assist you in any capacity that they can.
