Dr. Patel replaced my right hip in December 2024. Before my surgery I had pain with every step and could not stand upright. I was hospitalized overnight and began physical therapy immediately. There were no problems with my surgery or the incision. Pain diminished after the first few days and physical therapy ramped up with each visit so that I progressed from walker to cane within a few weeks. The highest recommendation that I can give is that I did not suffer any pain following total hip replacement surgery. Dr. Patel’s instructions before and following the surgery were excellent. I did not require any pain medications.
Dr. Patel performed the surgery to replace my left knee with an implant on August 14th. I have been under his care for the worsening osteoarthritis in the joint since October 2023. I have greatly appreciated his expertise and valued the advice he has provided both before and after the procedure. My mom had a knee surgery performed by Dr. Patel few months ago. Prior to the surgery, every step she took goes with pain. After the surgery, the healing was fast without complications and her pain has been under control. Dr. Patel gives listening ears to my mom and explains in detail all my mom needs to know pre and post opt.
