This Dr is arrogant, uncaring & won't answer questions. He only wants you in & out as quickly as possible. Our children deserve better quality care. We found another Dr as soon as we could!
This has to be thee worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. The reviews are accurate. He rushes, doesn't answer questions. Literally frowned at me when I tried to ask a question and walked off. I didn't even accept the next appointment. He does not need to work in pediatrics or be a doctor.
My daughter has been under Dr. Mungan’s care since she was five weeks old, when she underwent cataract removal surgery, and he has continued to oversee her postoperative care ever since. She is now three years old, and we continue to make the 2.5-hour drive for her appointments because the quality of care is exceptional. The staff is always kind and professional, and we are consistently seen in a timely manner. My daughter was a long time patient of Dr.Li , the previous ophthalmologist for Batson. She moved and so we were scheduled with this guy. Waited 2.5 hrs to be seen for literally 90 seconds. My daughter has had a prescription for glasses for years, he said she didn’t need them. When I asked why he said “Come back in 6 months” . No answer to my questions, no concern, and definitely not a very thorough examination. We have since changed dr’s and I will not go back to Batson/UMMC as long as he is the only option.
