I HAD AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH HER. SHE ABANDONED ME AND LEFT HER PRACTICE WITHOUT ANY FORWARDING ADDRESS. FELT MUCH WORSE AFTER GETTING TREATED BY HER.IMO AVOID HER LIKE THE PLAGUE

I saw Dr. Guiv in the summer and had a panic attack in her exam room. Dr. Guiv was very aggressive and I felt interrogated. I expressed that I’ve experienced sexual misconduct from a male gastroenterologist previously and instead of being empathetic and supportive, she aggressively asked me questions about this experience, coercing me to disclose information I didn’t not feel comfortable disclosing. I am not someone who takes the time to write negative reviews. But I believe people should feel empowered, safe, and comfortable to take control of their health, which is what I was trying to do when I made an appointment to see Dr. Guiv. I have had stomach issues for half of my life (14 years).
