Incompetence to the nth degree.

Repeatedly told me my son's severe respiratory distress was normal. He had biphasic stridor; severe retractions; no weight gain for 3 months. She refused to order diagnostics or give a referral. Within a month of firing her - he was diagnosed with IACS and had to have his chest cracked open and an artery reimplanted due to the fact it was crushing his trachea down to 20% of its normal size. She also refused to listen to me about my daughter's severe constipation and one acute crisis - she missed a diagnosis of SBI. She also ... read more

Dr. Wineriter is wonderful and always takes the time to listen and answer our questions. We have been seeing her for over 5 years now and recommend her to others.

All 3 of my kids have been going to her for their entire life. The oldest is 10. She has been at true blessing to have as a pediatrician. My wife and I drive over an hour to her office, because of the professionalism and the attentiveness she has shown our family.

First of all, less is definitely not always best!! I am appalled that she advocates this theory in her practice. Testing, in my opinion, is sometimes needed to rule out certain possibilities as well as to aid in determining causes - especially in infants & young children. I feel that Dr. Winewtiter most definitely “dropped the ball” concerning the healthcare of two of my grandchildren- my 2 year old granddaughter & my 5 month old grandson who is now facing probable major surgery.

Dr Wineriter dismissed our concerns about respoiratory issues that end up being a very serious thoracic issue. She repeatedly told us we were over reacting and she was opposed to ordering diagnostics. Additionally she is rude and her wait times are awful. She also lied to us, at one point stating she had read a ent note that wasn’t written yet. Terrible so glad we changed physicians

Less is more seems to be an excuse for ignoring symptoms. My grandsons life was endangered by her misdiagnosis and refusal to listen to complaints that he was not improving. He is not out of the woods yet but thank God he has a caring PCP now who has gotten him seen by the specialists he needed. Not only did she refuse to see the baby on more than one occasion she told his mother it was her fault the baby was not thriving! She is very lucky she has not been sued for malpractice!

Too conservative and does not truly listen to concerns of parents. With my daughter she dropped the ball and she had SBI. Thank goodness for Dr Rafati for saving her life. I should’ve left then. Fast forward to my son and once again she doesn’t listen and blames me for her mistakes - he’s failure to thrive; severe reflux; compromised airway. Very unprofessional if challenged. She will gas light you and straight up lie. Don’t recommend her to anyone. Get a second opinion!!! Also you’ll wait 1-2hr
