I've been seeing Dr. Ehrhardt for 2 years and she seems to me to be very capable and very caring. I went from an A1C of 12 to sustained results of less than 7 and lost 20 lbs. I actually enjoy my appointments with her.
I loved her! She waited to see me after I learned my referral had expired the day before my appointment and I had to have my doctor fax a new one. I just hate that GW appoints are so hard to get. She explained that she didn't have a lot of time because she had to go to the hospital for her patients but she did take enough time with me to answer my questions and went over some helpful solutions to my issue. Dr. Ehrhardt is very impersonal and unresponsive. She seems friendly, but it's not very authentic. She barely communicated with me. I spent more time with her resident doctor, and once they explained which test I would be given they just walked out of the room and left me there. I practically walked out the hospital with no real direction or notes on what I would be tested on. I called later for clarity on what exact test I'm having and she was curt and rude. I have seen Dr. Erhart for half a year but my prob was up and down. She is nice and kind, unfortunately she doesn't have a plan for me. Then I went to see other doctors for a second opinion. To my surprise, other doctors that I saw all reached the same opinion, which was totally different from what Dr. Erhart told me to do. Then I switched doctor.
