My son had to have a surgery and after going to two doctors we ended up with Dr. Lailas as our third. I wish I went to him first. His bedside manner was great. He clearly communicated to me everything that needed to be done and why. He got us in at the first possible availability. And, most importantly, his work as a surgeon was above what I expected. Top notch all the way. If you need a urologist for children go to Dr. Lailas first and get it done quickly and right.
I’ve been going to Dr Lailas since 1992 and totally trust him with my care. He is a kind and caring person that I respect. I highly recommend him and his talent. He has a great personality as well!
I have found that Dr. Lailas has the BEST bedside manner, knows his business and I have complete trust in his decisions. He has taken the "conservative" approach, which in the long run, did not work for me, but he was very quick to apologize, and I could totally feel his sincerity. I would put my complete trust of my care in his hands!
At 33, i've not visited many specialists in my days, but due to the unwelcome kidney stones over Thanksgiving (2017) I was forced to visit Dr. Lailas. My first visit was the day of surgery! He came in and answered all questions, and I was pain free after the surgery. Upon follow my up I passed the remaining stones and couldn't be better/happier with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Lailas to anyone in need of urological services. Highly knowledgeable with great bedside mannerisms. AAA+++
I give high marks to Dr. Lailas from elevated PSA, repeated tests of the PSA, biopsy of prostate, explanation of biopsy results, evaluating different treatments (robotic surgery, radiology, active monitoring, cyro..), actual surgery (pre and post) and follow-up after the robotic surgery. I was very impressed with the amount of time he spent with me along the way and was also very happy he is one of the high frequency Doctors experienced in robotic surgery. Thank you Dr Lailas.
From the moment my husband and I left my consultation, we knew Dr. Lailas was the surgeon I needed. My endocrinologist was keeping an eye on two cortical adenomas on my left adrenal gland, and recommended surgery. Since my surgery my health has already improved! Dr. Lailas explained everything that would happen, from pre-op thru post-op. The entire Urology Group staff that I dealt with was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr. Lailas and staff to anyone in need of there care.
Dr. Lailas treated me for a kidney lesion. My wife and I were nervous as this was a suspected cancer. Dr. Lailas immediately noted our nervousness and set us at ease explaining everything. My partial nephrectomy at Loudoun iNova hospital, and I must admit that this robotic procedure has been the best surgical experience of my life to date. And, either Dr. Lailas or Mari, from his surgical team, have worked to keep us in fully aware from start to finish. I'd recommend Dr. Lailas to anyone.
Dr. Nicholas Lailas is a fabulous surgeon and is an extremely caring member of the medical community. Check out his credentials-incredible! Despite being extremely busy, he is a person who knows how to listen and provide excellent practical advise. He was my surgeon recently and I could not be happier with the results. BTW, Dr. Lialas is busy because patients want the very best doctor they can find, I'm glad my family doc referred me to Dr. Lailas. NM Northern Virginia
Dr. Lailas used to be an excellent doctor. He was very concerned about female bladder issues. Over the past few years he as turned the complete opposite. I don't think it's me. I'm not a high maintenance patient. He has been inaccessible, rude, and really couldn't care less. I would strongly suggest you look somewhere else for urological care, unless you have an expensive procedure to be done. He may pay attention, then.
