Dr. Rose did a great job with my hand surgery and took the time to explain my problem and the surgical solution. My recovery went well and my hand is good as new

I went to Dr Rose in March of this year after a work accident. I was at USC trauma center for over a week. Drs at usc recommended him. I didn't know what Dr workman's comp would send me to. My case worker said I got you into Dr Rose for an exam. He was great surgery was perfect. His staff is very nice as well. He's not your normal Dr he actually asks how everything is going from my broken wrist to things like the LA kings. Yes he's a kings fan. Which we talked about. Like other one star reviewers stated, rushed, uncaring place. Dr. was not helpful at all, which was a very big disappointment after hearing how good he was supposed to be. Spent very little time with me, felt ripped off. He then had the nerve to write in his notes (which I obtained a copy of) that my problem is minor. Well, if losing your hand due to atrophy is minor, I would hate to see what a major issue is. There are better options out there, don't waste your time or money on this clown.

We were referred to Dr. Rose because my son is a competitive gymnast and had a complex wrist problem and were told that Dr. Rose was the only one with the expertise to fix the problem. We were not disappointed. Dr. Rose fixed the problem and my son is back to competitive gymnastics. As well as being a talented surgeon, Dr. Rose was thorough, caring and understanding and always took time to explain everything to my husband and me. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Rose recently completed a surgical repair of my wrist that involved two surgeries and several weeks of immobilization. I have had orthopedic surgery before and I am a nurse - I can honestly say that my care was superior - including the outpatient surgery staff at The Orthopedic Surgery Center of Orange County. Dr. Rose took time to explain the injury, the surgery and what to expect, he was responsive to questions and has been supportive throughout. Dr. Rose made me take a month between each of my 5 visits while I was losing money being on workers comp. He basically said the pain was all in my head even though I couldn't even wash dishes at home. He was arrogant, impatient and didn't listen to me. He sent me back to work where my arm started shaking so badly it looked like I was having a seizure. It took over 2 weeks to get an appointment and for him to say that all I needed was another cortisone shot. I got the shot and it worked but I'm still having residual pain from... read more

Dr Rose is one of the very best doctors in his specialty. He has done five different surgeries on me. He is knowledgeable, caring, and extremely good at what he does. Every one of my surgeries has been a resounding success. He is patient in answering questions and explaining procedures. I've never had any problems like some people here complain about.
