After experiencing unstable ankles for years and having both ankles give out on me in a 10 day period, I decided it was time to address my issue. Was very impressed from my first appointment. He and his staff were very thorough in explaining the procedure, recovery time and any complications that could occur. I was born with severe genetic deformities in both of my feet. I spent my entire life suffering a great deal and not having any doctors help me. Answered my questions and was very up front with care and treatment of my injury.
He diagnosed that my metatarsal was broken and fitted me with a boot and a plan for recovery.
Dr Cheney performed surgery on my big toe and the pain of walking is completely gone. He is kind and personable and really cares about his patients.
My visits with Dr. Cheney were always informative, not rushed, very kind and listened and answered all my questions. He performed two surgeries for exertional compartment syndrome and the out come was awesome for both.

I thought he was competent until 2nd surgery which also failed with a nail change in between. As time went by he was not as interested in my fusion. Did not offer any resource when asked about chronic pain as a result of his surgery that is constant.
