I am done with this office. They never do what they say they are going to do regarding prescriptions. They don't call them in and never respond to the Pharmacy when they try to get a hold of them. No one ever seems to know what is going on. This has been going on for years. I usually am a patient person but this has really gotten to me.
She's been my primary for 15 years. Thorough, spends a lot of time with me for my quarterly visit. Quick to prescribe meds, but supportive of other treatment modalities. Her office is too busy, but I always get a same-day appointment, usually with her, if I need one. Her NPs are excellent. It can be frustrating to get through the busy signal, though.
I liked both the doc and the nurses. As I read other reviews I'm remineded we as "patients" are the primary control of our own heath care and while relying on physicians is expected we need to remember WE are in charge and no one is infallible. Docs, nurses or us.
Excellent office staff. Very knowledgeable about health issues/questions. Great addition to Nevada County area. I would recommend them to family and friends.
All of my family sees Neva as our PCD(primary care doctor). It's great when you get to see Neva, but some of the nurses you may see instead are mildly ditzy or unknowing about things, or may just not care an take a long time to even get to seeing you. The nurses are terrible, not Neva. Get an appointment with the doctor, not her nurses.
Dr. Monigatti-Lake is very thorough, compassionate, and just an all-around nice lady. I would recommend her for either a man or a woman. My husband sees her and is very happy with her caring nature. The office staff is nice too. No complaints!
Dr. Neva is an amazing doctor. She has always taken time to listen and give a proper diagnosis without jumping to the extreme. Her practice has been excellent with my entire family, 6 months. and up. She sets a high standard and I won't go anywhere else in Nevada County.
Neva who? You get PA's not even alive as long as the pain. Then MAJOR back injury & MORBID pain. script held hostage for apt weeks out - had to use other meds to get by so I didn't lose my job. They had no concern for withdrawals. Straddle ur phone for ? days to make apt. Phone tag till you catch a return - if work allows you to take call (they new it was an issue). Took 2 wks to make an apt for 2 weeks out. Time off work once to go into the office to schedule. 30-60 minute office wait. Gd luk
She spends enough time to understand, is easy to talk to, and makes referrals when necessary. Her front office ladies are two of the sweetest women I have met. I feel very well cared for by everyone in Neva's office.
