Terribly unprofessional, receptionist is rude.
Great bed maners and willing to answer all your questions.
Dr Velasquez has been my physician for several years. She is smart, kind & never rushes me. I trust her completely.
She made me wait for over 40 minutes while I could hear her telling the patient next door that his wife needs to stop baking him cookies. She then proceeded to ask me ALL of the intake questions and when I pointed out that I had previously completed a form she said "oh, well I don't like that form." No pelvic exam, no breast exam. She argued with me about a maintenance inhaler for my asthma that I have had for years. Not helpful at all.
Dr Velasquez is very thoughtful and will explain the thinking behind what she recommends in a way that I appreciate as an engineer

Nelly Velásquez is late to her own appointments. She is rude and unprofessional. Her front desk staff is no different.
I have been going to Dr. Velasquez for about 2.5 years. As a healthcare professional I have high expectations- Dr. V has exceeded my expectations time and time again. Dr. V is always thorough and addresses each and every concern. She is proactive in her approach and practices holistically, incl. a thorough family history. She takes her time and doesn’t hesitate to follow her honed instincts. She identifies the cause rather than just treating symptoms. She is a healer and awesome MD. Thank You!
The doctor ordered a lab test and I ended up receiving a bill that was around $160 since July, I have been attempting to contact their office personnel as well as the doctor and have been completely ignored. The doctor just needs to change some lab code to remove this charge but instead chooses to ignore me and I may end up paying the lab bill which I did not request.
