Dr. Voorn has the 4 things I look for in a Primary Care provider. Professionalism/Good Bedside Manner, she’s thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable. From our first visit, she took the time to listen to each of my concerns, which are quite a few. I have chronic conditions that require multiple visits to different specialties throughout the year. Very bad experience! Has super sized ego of superiority and bedside manner completely lacking empathy. Thinks she's the smartest person in the room which gives her the right to be the "boss" and be about an hour late for first appointment of the day.
My experience with NYU Langone Health and Dr. Voorn was extremely disappointing and frankly shocking. I had blood work done while my insurance was still active, and afterward had a very brief telehealth appointment (around five minutes) simply to review the results. There was no treatment plan, no in-depth consultation, and nothing remotely close to what most people would consider a complex medical visit. Despite this, I later received a bill for over $600 for that five-minute Zoom call. What makes this even more frustrating... read more
