We did not have the greatest appt with Dr. Omery. My teenage daughter went for ongoing headaches and a fainting episode prior to a migraine. He seemed dismissive and disingenuous and asked me what I thought we needed to do. As a mother, I want my daughter to be pain free. As a doctor , you should have ideas on what needs to be done medically. I should not have to make those decisions. I did not feel very confident in him and had to ask for imaging and medications to try. I would not recommend seeing him.

We have seen Dr Murad Omery for over 3 years for our daughters medical condition. He is kind, patient and willing to help explain what symptoms mean and the treatment options. He was key in finding epilepsy after our daughter started having staring spells, and also helped us to get imaging to find her tumors related to her NF1 diagnosis. He is always a phone call away if we see something strange and always makes availability in his schedule to see us when we need him. Very responsive for a Pediatric Neurologist. We aren't sure why our daughter has had a headache for 5 weeks and Dr. Omery and his team have helped answer all our questions about next steps, medication and additional testing.
