I would have given five stars for Dr Venu's medical care & service -which I had for over a decade- until this April 15, 2023 when I called to schedule two appointments: an upper GI check up & high risk colonoscopy. The lack of communication and compassion earns a two star or less. I have always called 4-5 months in advance for upcoming procedures/visits & was given an appt within that time. Although I did not see Dr. Venu at this visit, Sharon Meyer (APN) did complete the appointment. She was wonderful! Very thorough, asked many questions, allowed me to answer completely, offered solutions and sent a message to My Loyola while I was in the examining room. She offered to research whether my insurances would cover a new medication. Ms. Meyer is really an excellent health care provider. I am glad she will be able to continue with my care.
