I have been seeing this doctor for 6 years now. I've never felt more understood as a patient than I have with him. He listens and asks questions. It took me to find him to find the proper treatment that was for me. I'm very happy with him and highly recommend him with anyone who has mood disorders, especially!

I found Dr. Munir during my DV marriage, and he not only supported me, but offered to testify on my behalf when my ex’s lawyer pulled all the usual tricks during the divorce. He helped me discover the family dynamics that led to me choosing the familiar pattern of narcissistic abuse in my life and stop it from recurring. He offered me hope when I was hopeless that I could arise alone from such devastating circumstances. Did he take notes while I was talking during my appointments in his computer? Yes he did. Did it appear li... read more

He rarely made eye contact, choosing instead to stare at his laptop. His ability to recall my issues between appointments was non-existent, so every appointment was like a first appointment, I just already had the medicine. If you're suffering from mental health problems, this is not the man to see.

They only care about taking your money. They don't care for you. Everything is rushed and I found that my husband was misdiagnosed after he went to 2 other specialists who questioned Dr. Munir's diagnosis on him.

Working with an adopted Child that has severe mental illness. He spends half his time talking about Covid and politics... During this (COVID) time mental illness is extremely challenging so please Dr. Munir we aren't thinking globally in your office- we are trying to survive the day... He has not adapted to change via zoom or google chat... everything is via the phone for 15 maybe minutes... then 120 dollars Please.

Dr. Munir is a good doctor, but his action during the pandemic gave me reasons to question it. I was told not before, but at the appointment they no longer accept my insurance, however, if I want to continue with the appointment they would charge me $80. She told me going forward the rate is $120. During a pandemic it’s very taxing on a person’s mental state and he choose this time to drop certain insurance and overcharge individuals who are out of work. He lacks empathy and sympathy and very unprofessional.

I’m a social worker and I’ve been seeing a psychiatrist since I was young. I always hated them because I felt they didn’t take time to listen to my situation. Dr Munir is the first doctor to show me empathy and understand where I’m coming from. He is by far the best doctor I’ve ever had. I like an hour away and still drive just for him

Dr. Munir gave me a 15 question assessment, similar to a psychiatric test you can take online, and interrupted me with the next question if I tried to explain any of my answers. He insisted on having my husband in the room, even asking if he would make a decision on switching my medications for me, as though I were mentally unfit to determine my own health care.. during my first and only appointment. He didn't even let me address the reason for coming in, as it didn't pertain to his list.

Intake was robotic and impersonal. Dr. Munir ran through a list of questions on his laptop and made very little eye contact with me during the 40 minute appointment. I was not given the opportunity to discuss my reason for making the appointment or whether my current meds were working. Very bizarre appointment - will not return.
