I had a high risk pregnancy with my 4th child (placenta previa and placenta percreta) and was transferred from my original OB to Dr. Cole. He is so knowledgeable, communicated everything so clearly about my condition and what to expect as far as surgery, recovery and possible complications, and has such a kind and calming demeanor. Got in and got out. Problem solved
Trish is absolutely amazing I’ve had her since I was a toddler and now my son has her as well! She listens and cares deeply about each person. She remembers every single one of her patients and really gets to know them on a deeper level than just being your doctor. She’s available for you in office and telehealth as well.
Fat shamed me constantly to the point where it was really uncomfortable.Tried to get in touch with her for help. Left several messages over the course of two months with no call back. Her own staff was mortified at how irresponsible she was and constantly apologized to me. Extremely unprofessional. Doctors are supposed to be empathetic. Avoid at all costs.
Dr. Namkoong is very kind, patient, funny, and informative. He took very good care of me during my time in Albany.
Difficult to secure appointment with Dr Poli in Malta.I had one last question but was told she did not have time as she walked out of room. For issues I was seen by male PA in Albany Medical, not what I was told would happen when I chose Dr Poli and the practice she is associated with.
I waited for months for a visit with Dr. Laufer due to my unique anatomy and health problems. When I inquired if he had much expertise in my type of condition (which I was told by the pain team he did)his answer was a shoulder shrug and a "I guess so". I’ve been seeing Dr. Pelnik for over 15 years! She’s amazing! She’s very thorough, caring, and listens. I never feel rushed. Dr. Pelnik knows my health history without having to ask me and has done all my pre-ops for my 5 + surgeries. She’s very approachable and has a great personality.
I have been experiencing excruciating pain while I sit since 2020 and after my pain management Dr from OrthoNY was unable to determine the cause, he referred me to Dr. Laufer, his mentor, with hopes he could help. Not only did Dr. Laufer show no signs of compassion or sympathy, he did not provide me with a cause or reason to this pain.
