I highly recommend Dr. Gordon Byrnes at the Retina Group of Washington. The entire staff from the front desk to the Technicians is very courteous and professional. Wait times are more than reasonable. Large floaters appeared in both eyes after laser cataract surgery, apparently a common side effect. He said the procedure needed to remove the floaters, a Vitrectomy, is fairly simple and takes about 10 minutes. I took my 92 yr old mother to him years ago and I now go to him. He is informative to talk with and he will answer any questions you have in a manner you can understand. Very friendly, professional and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Barazi.

I had to have a procedure that involved inserting a needle in my eye. This petrified me; but upon entry into the office, I felt comfortable. The front desk staff were so nice, courteous and helpful. One of the technicians, Darryl was very helpful in getting me to relax and even laugh before the procedure. The Doctor's assistant, right before the procedure was, too, very calming and helpful. I recommend Dr. Mohammed Barazi unreservedly. He has treated (and tended) the ophthalmological needs of my father and me for over 14 years. Not once has been less than the most consummate, knowledgeable, proactive, patient physician I could ever wish for. I feel fortunate he has chosen to be a physician. I feel fortunate I am his patient. I feel honored he is my ophthalmologist.
I recommend Dr. Mohammed Barazi unreservedly. He has treated (and tended) the ophthalmological needs of my father and me for over 14 years. Todays visit took almost 2 hours wait time before husband was actually seen by Dr. Weichel. Whatever the problem, patient should be given the option of resceduling. At minimum patient should be informed Dr is running seriously behind. As spouse, I was waiting 2 hours in hot car in rooftop parking.
