In and out of the room in under a minute. Didn’t assess me or listen to my heart. Just looked at the heart monitor events (ventricular tachycardia arrhythmias) that were recorded months prior and he then ordered scans and treadmill stress test. I've been a patient of Dr. Das for over 10 years however the last two times I had an appointment, he spent MAYBE 30 seconds in the room. He came in, listened to my heart for 5 seconds and turned around and said 'see ya in a year'. The first time he did I thought it was a one-off but then it happened again. I had questions to ask him but he couldn't even be bothered to sit down. I literally went to look for him to ask the questions and he had already walked to his desk and was eating an apple. Dr. Das performed a pacemaker lead extraction operation on my mother under the worst possible conditions and brought her through it. His preparations for all contingencies made all the difference for my moms very difficult case. Great follow up care and he communicates in a straight forward manner.
I would not recommend this doctor for my friends, family, or worst enemy.
He was very keen on performing a catheter ablation. He described the procedure as 'no big deal.' In fact it was a brutal, painful experience, not to mention very expensive. Now, many months later, I still have arrhythmia and am on more meds than before the procedure. Dr. Das scored a big pay day and I'm worse off than before.
