He is simply the best, technically speaking, as far as I can tell as a non-doctor. I interviewed many Lasik doctors across the Southeast before going forward with the procedure. Also, he is very nice. I felt comfortable asking questions and he even calls all of his patients in the evening to check on them. At least, he called me and all of the other patients I was talking with in the waiting room during my very short wait. I am recommending him to all of my friends.
I have also had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Wang speak several times to Liberty groups in Tennessee. When you understand that he was a victim of Mao's policies and how hard he fought to get into college rather than be consigned to a labor farm, you would appreciate his drive for achievement and excellence. When you hear him describe how he came to America with $50, a Chinese-American dictionary, and one contact here, it will make his accomplishments seem all the more extraordinary. When you know about the inventions and proc... read more
Results from my cataract surgery were not as expected. Dr. Wang advised me to buy very expensive lenses for best results because of my extreme far-sightedness before the surgery. However, both eyes healed near-sighted, so $$$ wasted. My concerns were not taken seriously & not explained. The doctors kept telling me to "give it time" and wait for the next appointment. A second opinion was necessary just to understand what had gone wrong. I will NOT be recommending Dr. Wang! He is more interested in the marketing than in good r... read more
A family member had cateracts removed and right eye stays turned to the right. He said he would "fix it." The family member returned for follow up and was informed by a staff member he does not correct problems but referred them to another doctor for the eye surgery to correct the problem.
The staff and Doctors informed me accurately of what to expect after surgery. It was helpful to have the surgery in the late afternoon so I only had to keep my eyes closed for an hour or so prior to going to bed. My vision was amazing in the morning. I’m so used to reaching for my glasses that I found myself still looking for them. I am ecstatic that I will no longer need them or my contacts.
Having had RK surgery on my corneas about 20 years ago, I know I had issues that required an extra special eye doctor. When a friend told me about Dr. Wang and his reputation I researched him and thought he was going to be more than qualified to help me with my vision. After traveling from out of state to see him, I knew after our first consult that he was the one. Dr. Wang performed Cataract and Lasik surgeries on me and my vision is now better than I ever thought it would be again. He has guided my through several difficul... read more
Dr. Wang first went through the procedure with me and made sure I was very comfortable for the day of the procedure. On the day of the surgery all of Dr. Wang’s staff was very comforting and nice. I was told everything I could expect and what to do with the drops. During the surgery Dr. Wang was very reassuring and made me feel good about Lasik even though I was extremely nervous. I don’t like things touching my eyes and Dr. Wang took that into consideration and made the experience as good as possible. Today I can see better... read more
bad lasik now I cant see at night and have alot of issues with computer monitors.
I went to Dr. Wang for Cataract removal. I know nothing of types of lenses but Dr. Wang recommended the multi-focal lens. As it turns out, my cornea was misshapen and I am not a good candidate for multi-focal lens. He pushed it on me and charged over $3500 for the lens. If my eyesight was greatly improved, it would be worth the price. However, other doctors sell the exact same lens for around $2200. I am quite upset at the results. There are news stories running constantly in the waiting room about his care given to less for... read more
