BE AWARE OF THE COST. I called first (07/16/2011) and explained that the patient doesn't have insurance and how much is the office visit? they told me $120. When we drove about 30 miles to get there, a very rude and unprofessional person sitting at registrar told me that we have to give them a credit card and at the end they will tell us how much it will be. I asked do we have a choice to say NO while you are treating her or know the cost up front? the answer was NO. What kind of freaking facility is this that they don't kno... read more

The best way to discribe Dr. Cortez, P : Caring, humble, put's his Pt's first, respects parents decision when it comes to shot's, he listen's when we have concerns, always smiles, he's bilingual (Speaks Spanish) which is great, always gets us in even when he's already has a full schedule and still manages to answer all of our questions. My boys love him. My 3 year old is always asking if we are going to see Dr. Cortez. It's great to know that he has that type of connection with my children. Good for you complaining, it does not surprise me that nothing was done. It seems that the medical profession always has a lot of excuses, just to protect themselves. I hope you have better luck in Concord.

Back in 1999 I had cataracts in both of my eyes. It ran in my family. When I had these, I was only 49 years old. I was referred to Dr. Graham by my family doctor. I was really happy to be put in touch with her. Dr. Graham is a very thorough Opthomologist, looking out for the patients best interest. She removed the Cataracts in both of my eyes (of course, one at a time) & had to do laser right after replacing the bad lenses with new ones. A few years ago I had gone to Dr. Ambrosino because my Podiatrist was unavailable. I needed to have my nails trimmed as one or two of them were ingrown. Dr. Ambrosino did this, however, they were way too short going in to the quick of the nails. This made it very difficult for me to walk. He also wanted me to get orthotics, which I said I didn't need since mine were still in pretty good shape. Also, when he came in to the examing room, it appeared he was on something. Here is my experience with the John Muir Urgent Care Center in Brentwood California in April of 2010. There are now 3 stainless steel screws in my 13 year old daughter's ankle now. The problem is that 7 days previous to this picture, she was seen at the John Muir Urgent Care Center in Brentwood, CA and sent home with a temporary splint and told to come back to the Urgent Care Center for a re- check in 7-10 days. When my daughter was about 3 I noticed that her ankles looked a little odd when she walked. I asked her pediatrician at the time and I was told she would out grow her condition. I knew that this did not seem right. When we changed medical coverage to Kaiser and we began to look for a podiatrist within Kaiser. I have been a patient for 4 years. I had a very bad foot injury. Dr A has preformed 2 surgies on my foot and they have been complete successes. He has great bed side manor and is alway on time.
