Tries to push vaccines on you when you consistently say you are not interested. She also double charges for visits if you go in for a wellness visit and she 'finds' something wrong. Anthem said a PCP CAN do this but it is to their discretion. I think that is so wrong especially for people who have preventative care covered and now I have to pay for a visit out of pocket because YOU 'find' something wrong... SMH
I took my 15yo son to see Dr. Howard recently for a well visit and to my surprise, found out that he had an undiagnosed mental health condition. If it had not been for Dr. Howard being thorough at her job, I would still not know and not be able to provide the help he needed. I am indebted to her and I appreciate her help over these past years to keep him healthy.
Took my child to his yearly visit and after the examination she mentioned that he had a small rash and mentioned to get an over the counter ointment which we did. The problem occurred a few weeks later when we found out she double charged for the appointment. We were charged our yearly visit, and charged for an office visit. Just because she mentioned a small rash she charged a whole visit. Way excessive
I have taken my 5 children to Dr. Howard over the past 4 years and could not be happier. I have NEVER doubted her medical knowledge or abilities and I have gotten positive feedback from al 3 of my close friends whom I referred her to. You will not be disappointed choosing her to take care of your kiddos.
She completely misdiagnosed our child's problem. He had a case of hand, foot and mouth disease which she gave us antibiotics (no antibiotics needed for this).
We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Howard. She allowed me to express my apprehensiveness with seeing a new pediatrician without a referral. Dr. Howard had a bright attitude and my kids felt very comfortable with her. She had a sense of humor. But most importantly she was very knowledgeable and professional. I will be sharing experience with friends.
