The doctor and Staff were very knowledgable,helpful,and kind.
In December 2009, I had breast augmentation surgery with a nipple lift. Just over one year later, I gave birth to a baby boy. Breastfeeding was difficult in the first few days as it is for many new moms. I was told that I might not be able to breastfeed because of the breast implants and the nipple lift. However, I went to a Lactation Consultant who was surprised and impressed that my milk ducts were not destroyed by the nipple lift, which is often the case. I went for a consult with dr gallegos and he was EXTREMELY LATE My appt was at 345 and at 445 his asst came in and told me i could wait for 30 more min or i would need to reschedule when ever he has time. he never came in to appologize or ask when a new time was convenient to me . I get hes a surgeon but his time is no more important than mine. I took time off work to go to him as a referral from a co worker and he was so rude and disrespectful . The best choice i ever mae was to go to dr mayberry for my breast surgery
My daughter was scheduled for breast augmentation. When on the operating table Dr. Gallegos decided not to operate because she had a tumor on her left side removed (along with 2 pinky-length ribs) and had received radiation. This is something he should have discovered during the pre-op....her scar is about 6 inches long and can't be missed. I believe he was negligent. He refunded $5,300....Charged $500 plus tax. Why? While looking for a plastic surgeon for breast augmentation, I was referred to Dr Gallegos by a friend, I made an appointment for 345 for a consult in which I had to take off work early to attend. I arrived on time but had to pick up my daughter by 5 pm which I thought would be plenty of time. Unprofessional. I went to several consults with different doctors to choose who I felt was best for me. During Dr. G's quick consult I mentioned that everything he stated was the exact opposite of what all other doctors had told me, he asked me to mention the doctors I had seen. Dr. Miguel and his staff were so friendly and caring! I went through a tummy tuck and lower and upper eye lift. The staff on the day of my surgery were so tentative to my needs. I am still amazed at the results of my surgery! After having three kids and being in my 40's, I was having issues with my self esteem. I now have a stomach as flat as I did when I was in high school! I had a lipo procedure performed by Dr. Gallegos. The Dr took enough time to explain the procedure, what would go on during the procedure, recovery time and what to expect, and short/long term results. Dr. Gallegos went over everything so thoroughly that there were absolutely no surprises. In no way did Dr. Gallegos over estimate the results I would see. My initial consultation with Dr. Gallegos was great and everyone in his officer were very nice and very knowledgeable. I had a list of questions (literally I had a written list) when I went in and Dr. Gallegos answered all of them very honestly and completely. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand and tell you he can make you gorgeous and slim forever you should not go to him.
