Wish I would have chosen a different surgeon because MV left me with nerve damage and I had to have a hip revision because of the overhang !
2 different surgeons, 2 different areas, both told me I was 'too young' for hip replacement. I argued about my quality of life, lack of being able to enjoy hobbies, not being able to work, household chores were difficult, yard work was impossible and I couldn't play with my grandchildren. After I met with Dr Vanwagner, he told me I was 'too young to live like this'! I cried right there when he said he would be happy to help me!
